Room to Give
Through the Room to Give program, Choice offers volunteer opportunities throughout the year to inspire and engage associates. Choice also commits to the organizations close to our associates’ hearts by matching their financial giving to qualified organizations and providing paid volunteer leave.
Choice is a proud partner of the American Red Cross through an array of initiatives, including:
- Matching campaigns for Choice Privileges members to support the American Red Cross’ disaster relief efforts, helping the non-profit respond to more than 60,000 disasters of all sizes each year—providing safe shelter, hot meals, emotional support and resources to aid in recovery.
- Hosting blood drives in hotels and corporate offices, collecting hundreds of blood units and helping save thousands of lives.

Room to be Green®
Our worldwide headquarters in North Bethesda, Maryland is pursuing LEED Gold Certification (Leadership in Energy & Environmental Design) with features including green roofs, Energy Star® appliances, recycling, monthly public transportation subsidies, eliminating disposable cups and using technological enhancements to reduce paper waste—just to name a few—practicing a sustainable lifestyle is a way of life for our associates.
