Inclusion & Diversity

  • Choice associates celebrate Diwali, the Hindu festival of lights.

  • Choice honors #NationalComingOutDay. We welcome all associates with open arms!

  • Choice showcased the talents of our associates at our first ever Oktoberfest Showcase! Painters, commedians, bands and, believe it or not, opera singers and more!

  • Thanks to the hard work of VALOR, our veterans-focused employee resource group, Choice was able to furnish a fantastic float for the Phoenix Veterans' Day Parade. Thank you, Veterans, for your service.

At Choice we believe that our corporate world should look a lot like the increasingly diverse world in which we operate—and our hiring practices reflect that belief. Our dedication to diversity means we seek out the best talent the hospitality industry has to offer, and we focus on nurturing that talent in an open and inclusive workplace atmosphere, respecting everyone's perspective and maximizing everyone's contribution.

Because we're committed to inclusion and diversity, advancement opportunities at Choice are open to all applicants. We're also dedicated to creating and maintaining a work environment where a plethora of opinions, ideas and philosophies can flourish—no cookie cutters here.

To help foster diversity and inclusion, Choice employees are encouraged to participate in networks and resource groups providing career development, networking opportunities, mentoring, and assistance in activities that promote cultural awareness. Here are some examples:

  • WBA (Women's Business Alliance) serves as a forum to provide resources and development opportunities for Choice associates.

  • Choice PRIDE Employee Resource Group enhances Choice's standing in the corporate community as it relates to GLBT associates, suppliers, and guests.

  • CHAARGE Employee Resource Group (Choice Hotels African American Resource Group for Employees) leverages the diverse talents and experiences of Choice's African American associates to assist in the execution of the company's strategic business objectives, creating long-term stakeholder value.

  • VALOR (Veterans Are Loyal Organization Resources) makes a positive difference in the lives of Veterans and their families through acknowledgement of service and sacrifice, promoting stewardship and assisting with needs.

  • CYPA (Choice Young Professionals Alliance) offers networking and development opportunities designed to address those associates who are at the start of their careers.

  • Adelante, or forward movement in Spanish, enhances our diverse culture and creates awareness for the Hispanic and Latino communities within the company and in our consumer base.

  • ENABLE is a business resource group created to increase awareness, access and advocacy of people with disabilities at Choice.
