SUMMARY STATEMENT

Monitor and maintain status reports for construction and operational progress of a portfolio of brands in order to maintain product quality. Provide initial licensee support by collaborating with the Franchise Sales team at execution of franchise contract. Exemplify and emulate each brand philosophy in all activities and projects as required by the organization and by the franchisee.

PRIMARY DUTIES AND ACCOUNTABILITIES

Organize and schedule desktop and field-based product improvement plans (PIPs) and communicate to all stakeholders regarding timing, expectations and postings of all internal PIPs. Review and approve PIPs for consistency and ensure brand direction is achieved.

Negotiate PIPs with licensees and stakeholders as representatives of the brand team and ensure all brand directions are met in accordance with ongoing communications and interpretations.

Discuss timelines and educate internal and external stakeholders on benefits of product improvement plans. Support administrative tasks required of the Product Improvement team as needed.

Maintain consistent and effective relations through regular contact with licensees (and their key partners) and support of their construction and pre-opening activities. Ensure seamless and impactful entry into the complex organization of franchise operations.

Maintain required budget and expense report standards as a field member of Choice and focus on fiscal responsibility and balanced travel as needed.


SKILLS, EDUCATIONAL BACKGROUND AND EXPERIENCE

Bachelors degree or equivalent years of experience
Extensive broad-based experience across all segments of hotel operations at a senior level.
5+ years hotel operations background. Experience in mid-scale and economy brands required.
Exposure to and understanding of design basics and interpretations.
Excellent negotiation and inter-personal skills.
Proven leadership skills and ability to function effectively in cross functional team environment.
High school diploma with excellent written, verbal, and analytical skills.
Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
